Fitness has always been a part of who I am. From an early age, I knew I was different. I’ve never quite fit into the standard mold. With massive calves, a thick chest, and a back that’s incredibly strong, I’ve always had a stocky build. In high school, I was a varsity athlete, excelling as the center and nose tackle on the football team. I also started as a crease defender in lacrosse. Sports came naturally to me, and I loved the challenge of pushing my body to its limits.
MY ORIGINAL 130LB Weight Loss Journey

In college, I found my passion for working out and powerlifting. The gym became my second home as I obsessed over strength training, always aiming to lift more and push further. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to experience various fitness practices that have shaped who I am today. CrossFit and mixed martial arts were huge for me, testing my body in new and exciting ways.
One of the defining moments in my fitness journey was training for the Camino de Santiago. I dedicated a year to preparing for the trek and completed the Portuguese route in 11 days, walking from Porto to Santiago in 2017. The mental and physical endurance I developed during that experience was truly life-changing.
Since then, I’ve continued to train on my own, working on the rowing machine, pounding the heavy bag, and mountain biking. However, like many people, my fitness tends to fluctuate with my weight. Right now, I’m at a heavier weight than I’ve been in the past, and my fitness is lacking. But I know this isn’t the end of my story. With the support of this website and the community we’re building, I am committed to getting back on track and reclaiming the strength and fitness I know I’m capable of.
This journey isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. I’m here to share my story, my setbacks, and my successes with you as we all work together to fuel our fitness journeys through whole-food, nutrient-dense meals. It’s time to get stronger, healthier, and back on track, and I’m ready to take that next step.
