Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 cup raspberry 225 grams fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1/4 cup red onion chopped finely
  • 1 jalapeno chopped finely
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp cilantro chopped finely

Instructions
 

  • To make homemade raspberry salsa combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well. Press some raspberries with a spatula to release their juices and mix well. Adjust salt, and sweetness as per taste.

  • Let it sit for 30 minutes in the fridge. It tastes great when served chilled.

Notes

Tips 
  • Press raspberries while mixing, it helps in releasing their juices and create a flavor profile.
  • You can use frozen red raspberry as well to make this salsa. Just thaw the frozen one and then follow the rest of the recipe.
  • Cilantro is optional, so if you like to skip it, you can.
  • Adding red chili flakes gives extra heat which goes well with the other flavors.
