This easy red raspberry salsa is inspired by the Traditional Mexican Pico De Gallo and instead of tomatoes, I use fresh raspberries to make this homemade fruit dip.

I love how sweet, tart, spicy raspberry fruit salsa tastes so much better than the store-bought and brings tons of flavors to my summer salad platter.

Why you will love fruit salsa

    • Fresh & seasonal- This fruit salsa dip is very simple to make with seasonal fresh raspberries. Its tart flavor is balanced with chilies, maple syrup & lemon juice. Raspberry has very soft skin, it mixes with other ingredients and makes a dip-like consistency.
    • Healthy- Fresh fruits should be consumed every day as they provide natural sugar and micronutrients. Having said that until one consumes maintenance calories, it is difficult to indulge in fruits freely. To make it work just measure the fruit quantity and enjoy making a variety of recipes like I made strawberry cucumber salad within macros. For my tomato raspberry salsa, I measured the raspberry quantity and made it.
    • Low carb- The best part of this condiment is, it is naturally low in calories, gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian. It fits easily in macro friendly diet as well. Raspberries are great anti-oxidants.
