What Do Cherries Taste Like
Cherries are drupes or stone fruit just like peaches, plum, and nectarines. That means they contain a pit with seeds inside them.
They come in many varieties and so their flavor varies from tart to sweet. Cherries are firm, juicy, and fleshy from inside with a thin outer layer. They burst out with all the flavors when you have a bite on them.
Bing, Lapins, and Lambert cherries are on the sweeter note and their color can be from dark red to deep mahogany. Sweet cherries are intensely sweet that you can eat them as soon as you get hold of them. The darker the color, the sweeter it is in flavors.
Chelan, Rainier, and Tulare cherries are tart and used in baking goods. They are healthy and packed with nutrients. Rich in vitamin C, fiber, and many more.
