For a dairy-free waffle recipe, use almond milk instead of regular milk. Almond flour, buckwheat flour, and oats flour will also work in place of whole wheat flour.
Let's make Healthy Waffles using these 5 simple steps:
Mix the wet ingredients in a large bowl.
Add the dry ingredients and mix slowly until lumps dissolve.
Preheat the waffle maker until the waffle iron is hot. Pour ⅓ cup of waffle batter into each square.
Cook for around 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
Finish off the waffles with maple syrup or chocolate syrup, and berries!
I don't always brush my waffle maker with oil or butter, but if your waffle maker tends to stick, go ahead and brush it with oil.
