For this salad Shirazi, I use only 1 teaspoon olive oil due to which is only 41 cal per serving.

Ingredients:

Cucumber Tomato Onion

Bell peppers Herbs Dressing

Step 1

Finely chop vegetables. Chop vegetables like Mexican pico de gallo style. Transfer them to a mixing bowl, then add all the herbs.

Step 2

Persian salad dressing. Add oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and sumac to a mason jar. Close the lid and shake it well.

Step 3

Mix together & serve. Drizzle the dressing over diced vegetables and mix well. Adjust salt and pepper as per taste. Serve and enjoy!

Quick Tip:

Add the dressing just before serving. Vegetables get soggy when kept for longer in the fridge with the dressing due to citrus & salt.
