It is a healthy salad with high satiety, will keep you full for longer, and is great for sweet cravings. This fruit salad is made with greek yogurt and does not contain cream cheese, whipped cream, marshmallows, or mayonnaise.

I prepared this honey vanilla fruit salad with a combination of strawberries, kiwi, raspberries, apples, grapes, and bananas. Use plain nonfat Greek yogurt with monk fruit (sweetener).
- Fruits- The good part of fruit salad is you can use any fruits of your choice. Here I am using fresh berries with apple and banana.
- Sugar-free- Now a days I am on Monk fruit for most of dessert and have cut down on refined sugar significantly.
- Greek Yogurt- I use 2% low far Greek yogurt to make this creamy fuits salad. But full fat Greek yogurt is great to use as well.
- Optional- Vanilla essence, and granola are extra additions for flavor and crunch.
Substitutions & Variations
- Fruits- Add a variety of fruits like, Blueberries, blackberries, mandarin, pineapple, mango, orange, clementaine, mandarin, basically any fruits as per choice.
- Granola- Crunchy Granola gives an extra touch of crunch to yogurt fruit salad. Sprinkle some and enjoy.
- Chia seed- Add Chia seeds, 1 tablespoon chia seeds will also go well with the salad. Add them if you have a calorie surplus.
- Regular yogurt- You can make this fruit salad with regular yogurt as well. Nutritional values will differ as per the yogurt used.
- Protein powder- Add 1 scoop of whey or any protein powder you like to add.
- Vegan- To make vegan fruit salad use any dairy-free yogurt. I have not tried it myself but it should work. Coconut yogurt is a great option for vegan fruit salad.
- Sweetener- Feel free to use honey, maple syrup, stevia or agave syrup as per choice to make it refined sugar-free.
- Seeds- Sprinkle some seeds like pumpkin or sunflower for some healthy fats.
- You can also add cook whip, cream cheese or nuts. Please keep in mind while maintaining weight or counting calories, each calorie counts. Always be mindful while adding or trying a variation of this healthy salad.

- Use plain nonfat Greek yogurt to make it. Pre-made flavored yogurt comes with extra sugar which adds in calories. Using plain homemade curd or Greek yogurt, you can control the consumption of sugar.
This salad is very simple and easy to put together. It can easily be portioned in small containers and store in the fridge in advance. Except for bananas, you can add all the fruits while storing.
This easy, and creamy yogurt fruit salad bowl has 231 calories with 19 grams of protein, 34 grams of carbs, and 3 grams of fats. Calories will depend on the ingredients you will use.
Use full-fat Greek yogurt, low-fat Greek yogurt, protein powder, cream cheese are a few ways to add protein to your favorite fruit salad. If you plan to make a fruit salad without yogurt then paneer, tofu, ricotta cheese are other options.

How to store

If you like to prepare Greek yogurt fruits salad in advance then do make the Greek yogurt dressing and cut fruits (except bananas), store both of them in separate containers and store them for 3-4 days. Mix both once you are ready to serve.
