Using 5 ingredients all you need is 15 minutes to make those cheesecake-filled strawberries.
- Strawberry- For this recipe we need fresh, blemish free, and big in size strawberries for two reasons. First we need to cut them half lengthwise and make a dent in each half for filling. Kind of carving a small bowl shape to hold the filling. Second, a little slicing from the curvy side of strawberries so that they can sit at the edge instead of rolling around.
- Cream cheese- I use full fat cream cheese to make cheesecake filling for getting the full flavors. Low fat cream cheese also works fine for the recipe.
- Greek yogurt- Using non fat greek yogurt for thick and creamy structure. But full fat greek yogurt is also great.
- Vanilla extract- Vanilla gives a aromatic flavors after combining with creame cheese and yogurt.
- Sweetener- I use maple syrup to sweeten my creamcheese cake filling. But monk fruit sweetener also works great.
- Garnishing- Blueberry or mint leaves for garnishing.
By combining all these ingredients delicious, healthy, flavorful, we make cheesecake deviled strawberries.

How To Make Deviled Strawberries
In 15 minutes you can prepare a healthy strawberry dessert to serve at any time. Let's see the step-by-step instructions.
Prepare strawberries
At first, clean and wash all the strawberries. Wipe them with a paper towel to dry them all.
Cut them half lengthwise along with the stem. Do not pluck the stem away. It helps in holding them. Slice off a small piece from the round part of the strawberry to flatten it. Doing so will help in resting in one place instead of rolling around.
Now use a sharp knife or melon baller to carve a small bowl from the flat side of the strawberry. This is where we will pipe the cheesecake filling. Repeat this for all other strawberries.
Make cheesecake filling
In a mixing bowl, whisk greek yogurt, cream cheese, vanilla, and sweetener till smooth consistency.
Fill the cavity
It is good to use a piping bag to fill the cavity. But using a small spoon also works just fine. Fill a piping bag with the cheesecake filling and fill the small bowl you created in the strawberry halves.
Repeat this for all the strawberries halves.
Garnish & serve
Garnish with mint leaves and blueberry at one side and serve immediately. Enjoy these delicious cheesecake deviled strawberries.
Tips & FAQ's
- Pick big and fresh strawberries so that you can fill them with filling. The more the merrier.
- Do not cut the green stem part. It will help in holding them.
- Cream cheese & yogurt should be at room temperature as cream cheese tend to get lumpy while combining.
You can make these cheesecake deviled strawberries in advance. Prepare the cream cheese filling and transfer it to a dry container, close the lid, and store it in the fridge. Similarly, make the small bowls in all halves of strawberries and store them in a separate container. This way you can store them for up to 3-4 days. When you need to serve, just transfer the filling into a piping bag and fill the small bowl, that's all.
How To Serve
Deviled strawberries are good to serve as a snack, a party appetizer, or a lightened dessert at any time.
How To Store
Any leftovers? Transfer them to a container and arrange them in a single layer. Place the container in the fridge and store them for up to one week. I do not recommend freezing as yogurt curdled after the thawing process, and strawberries will become soggy.
